- the question "can men do a good job advocating for women?" is very similar to questions like "can white people do a good job advocating for non-white people?"
- answer: in a few circumstances, but only if they're extremely open and honest, and very responsive to the community that they're trying to advocate for (further, that they accept the fact that they're going to make big mistakes once in a while)
