I have a feeling that my parents and grandparents aren't as accepting as they let on.
These are things that I plan to give them, to try to nudge them in the right direction.
- "Prayers for Bobby" — a DVD movie that mentions that religion is sometimes used to justify intolerance, and that the price of intolerance can be high
- some excerpts of the Injustice at Every Turn report
- 41% of transgender Americans have attempted suicide
- the chart that accompanies the "family acceptance of great importance" section
