sponsor -- someone who owns a paysite, and pays affiliates to drive visitors to them
affiliate -- someone who doesn't create any new content, doesn't do credit card processing, but instead is paid a small bit of money by the sponsor for end-user they send to the sponsor, or for each new membership
cheater -- someone who intentionally abuses the sponsor/affiliate relationship.  There are several types of cheaters:
        - a sponsor who, after getting an affiliate to send traffic to them, then refuses to pay the affiliate
        - an affiliate in a pay-per-click agreement, who uses a bot to generate fake clicks (click fraud, hitbot, ...)
        - an affiliate who gets spyware to modify the affiliate tracking information sent by other affiliates' websites, to make it look like the traffic is originating from their affiliate ID.
            The spyware is typically installed on the end-user's computer long before the end-user visits an affiliate's website.
            (the affiliate ID can be owned by the same person who controls the spyware.  Or the affiliate ID can be owned by a third party who pays the spyware controller to divert links to their affiliate ID -- see Zango.)
        - sometimes used to refer to someone outside the sponsor/affiliate relationship, whose website hotlinks to images/movies hosted on a sponsor's or affiliate's website, since this is effectively stealing bandwidth.

FHG -- free hosted gallery -- individual gallery pages hosted by a sponsor, available for free to non-members as well
  FHPG -- free hosted picture gallery
  FHMG -- free hosted movie gallery
  FHHG -- free hosted hybrid gallery (eg. picture + movie)
  FHvG -- free hosted video gallery
  FHS -- free hosted site -- this is different...  somehow?
TGP -- thumbnail gallery post -- list of links to FHGs, usually hosted by an affiliate and linking to several different sponsors
  MGP -- movie gallery post
Pic post -- A site where an affiliate lists content, but each link goes to a page with typically only one picture on it, and the picture is hosted on the affiliate's website (rather than the sponsor hosting the images).

PPC -- pay-per-click -- an agreement where the affiliate earns money whenever an end-user visits the sponsor
PPS -- pay-per-signup or pay-per-membership -- an agreement where the affiliate earns money whenever an end-user visits the sponsor, and becomes a new member
revshare -- affiliate gets a certain percentage of sales revenues from the customers they sign up
conversion ratio -- the percentage of unique visitors to a paysite that become paying members

fusker -- Originally a specific site, that spawned many clones when it died.  They hotlink to images stored on others' servers.

skim -- what percentage of clicks on TGP links get diverted to something else.
