get OpenSCAD files from pmoes@thingiverse [2]
text-edit the OpenSCAD file, make it solid, not hollow
- in the "difference" function, comment out the last pair of lines
open in OpenSCAD; Compile and Render; Export as STL
open in Pepakura; Unfold; tweak; Export as Vector > EPS
- 2D > Change Scale > Scale Factor ⇒ 1 (autoscale makes the polyhedra different sizes!)
- when exporting as EPS, fill the faces, don't fill the flaps
open in Inkscape; Extensions > Modify Path > Convert to Dashes; linewidth ⇒ 0.001 inch; Save a Copy > PDF
- Path > Combine the folds (this is helpful); Combine the non-folds; Combine the filled-faces
- final steps:
  - select all; fill⇒none
  - select folds; ungroup,ungroup,ungroup,ungroup; width⇒0.2px; dashes⇒widest; Extensions > Modify Path > Convert to Dashes
  - select all; linewidth⇒0.001 inch
open in Acrobat Reader; print to the Epilog laser cutter
- vector only; power=100%; speed=100%; frequency=500Hz
