Edit /etc/apache2/conf.d/mediawiki.conf, and run /etc/init.d/apache reload if you changed anything.
Log into the wiki from a browser, and go through the setup dialog.
After setup is done, move LocalSettings.php to /etc/mediawiki/LocalSettings.php.
