You've received an email from someone. Say you want to modify it, for instance, to change the subject so it's easier to find the email later.

In Outlook, it's easy to do. But it isn't possible in Evolution.

Is this possible in Thunderbird? How do you do it?

you can move it to the Drafts folder, where you can edit it just fine

- actually, it works fine as-is.... you just have to modify the version-compatibility metadata to say it works fine in later versions
