So your card only has an internal antenna, it doesn't have an external connector.  Is there any way you can hack your own?

<p>Yes, but it's tricky (you can <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standing_wave_ratio#Practical_implications_of_SWR">damage your transmitter if too much power is reflected back</a> &mdash; the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-domain_reflectometer">impedance discontinuity</a> at the solder point must not be too large (<a href="http://physics.usask.ca/~hirose/ep225/animation/reflection/anim-reflection.htm">cool animations</a>)).

<p>You need to be somewhat experienced with soldering before jumping in.
