- now that I'm semi-established as User:Underpants, we clearly need a theme on our homepage.
This will do nicely:

Gnomes (South Park episode)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Gnomes_plan.png
(obviously I'd have to re-draw it myself, and make it obviously distinct, since fairuse isn't allowed on user pages)

ASAP:
- if this issue isn't resolved by Dec 24, 2007, remove the questionable text:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2007_Pakistani_state_of_emergency#Copyright_of_declaration_text.3F

- make a decent worldwide map for Endorheic basin
- is decent, but it shows everything BUT the endorheic basins
- partial components:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Caspianseamap.png
http://earthtrends.wri.org/maps_spatial/maps_detail_static.php?map_select=294&theme=2
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:GB-Definition-Map.jpg

- add this: http://reddit.com/info/2bisz/comments/c2bjb7 to List of bridge disasters

- create a map for Quad Cities:
http://tinyurl.com/ypklvw
- hopefully we can include some sort of outline of the individual cities?
- do an inset that shows the larger area, maybe the entire U.S.

- convert (!!?!) to SVG

- nominate the soap bubble image for featured image on Commons
- but first, I need watch the featured image candidates, and find out the social standards, etc.

- add a enhancement/bug in bugzilla for being able to display a specific version of an image
- add another enhancement/bug, for adding a proper (diff) link to image versions... that
uses a blink comparator

- email Satoko, mention:
- did she get her package?
- did she decide on a job?
- has she seen this hilarious video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X30eJjDZlJ0

X update my cross-namespace redirects report

X write a dump-script that identifies all CSD-G8 (note that sub-criteria 1, 2, and 4 can be automated)

- write a dump-script that idnetifies all CSD-G8 that have existed since we have deletion-logs
available for, and whose main page (AND top-level main page) appears to have never existed...
eg. likely entirely joke articles

- post all three of the above on WT:CSD

- write a dump-script that identifies some of the worst disambig pages
1. (manually?) come up with a full list of the subcategories of
2. use categorylinks.sql to come up with a full list of all disambiguation articles
3. scan through the article text, and analyze them

- draw an image for Orbital plane (astronomy)... maybe render it?
http://odin.physastro.mnsu.edu/~eskridge/astr101/Draconic.png

- take a picture for:
bar ends
dipstick

- change large sections of Tomb of Jesus away from being a disambig... I don't believe
that trying to wedge it into the confines of WP:MOSDAB will benefit it at all

- make sure all the links at User:Interiot/CamelCase have R from CamelCase on them (using AWB)

- add to aircraft carrier... the article is already jam-packed with pictures, but this one is particularly stunning

- things to put through XfD sooner or later (they're marginal... if they're kept, AfDing might help them improve, and/or clarify why they should be kept)
- Cambrian House (I think we do need to be absolutely certain of its notability, due to the GoogleSense stunt before)
- Paul Kraus
- Purple minutes (its significant concerns were noted in tags on March 25)

- convert this to SVG: Image:LocationNigeria.png
using

- articles in the process of being created (see staging/ directory)
- Template:Disambig-inclusion (per Wikipedia talk:Disambiguation#New cleanup tag proposal)
- Dan Rather Presents
- Infiniti G37
- Extralife
- Template:Succinct_captions

- maps I'd like to draw in SVG eventually
- Mississippi Delta, based on http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4675562
- Jordan River, based on http://www.ce.utexas.edu/prof/mckinney/ce397/Topics/Jordan/jordanb.jpg

- at stubtypes for deletion, have renamed to something like
, since motorsport-stub's name doesn't at all imply only-automobiles
Examples that are not automobiles:
- Sidecarcross
... so I guess the question will be: are there enough non-auto entries to be able to split this?
... on the other hand, does it make sense to split it? things like Tamburello (infamous race track corner)
may well straddle the line

- some of my /Media articles that could definitely use some TLC (eg. proper writing, expansion, copyediting)
ExtremeTech

- find a way to delete or otherwise handle these: ns0
- move them all to Talk: space, per Wikipedia:Subpages, I think

- take a picture for D-pad of the Wii controller
- clean the wii-mote first, obviously
- make sure there's a reflection off of the surface plastic that criss-crosses the D-pad... it looks quite nice

- add the Harvard study back into TRUSTe (see article history)

- make a better animated .gif for Sieve of Eratosthenes... that one is pretty bad:
- we should simply use circles for identified primes, and X out numbers that identified as non-prime
- it's useful to do some stepping through the numbers, but especially when doing
"2" and "3", only the first couple should be stepped through, after that it should
speed to the end for that number
- the colors are otherwise very confusing, especially with the subtle difference between things
like dark red and light right
- the list on the right is unnecessary, I think. Circling the primes would do
fine, I think. (it also adds untranslatable text)
(though the text refers to the two separate things, as part of the
algorithm, so... maybe we could leave it in, and just do a drop-in
replacement?)
- maybe as a bonus: when processing "3"s, hilight the cicled 3 and crossed 6, 9,
12, ... in red. When done processing the "3"s, turn those back to black.
Then hilight the crossed "4" in red. Then turn that to black. Then hilight
the circled "5" in red, and crossed 10, 15, 20, ... in red as well...
- maybe hilight the "anchor" nubmer... (eg. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ...), that way it's
clear what's being crossed off, and also, when we skip over a number, it's more
clear? maybe?

- see http://www.webreference.com/dev/gifanim/ for resources on optimizing animated gifs
after they're created

- do a program that outputs .rgb binary dumps to imagemagick to do this...

- give it several grayscale mask images:
1. the background gray-box grid
2. the rendered font (just a screenshot of the table from Word or Firefox)
(the current image would work fine as well...)
3. the final circles and crosses mask
- the program will just combine those masks in various ways for each part of the
grid... eg. often the rendered font will be black, but it can easily turn it
alpha+red when they're hilighted
- be sure to draw a black box around the whole thing like
does so the image doesn't need a separate frame
- have some sort of list of frames to skip? Or just automatically start skipping
frames when you've done 5 of a given number?

- redo my homepage like this (har har, it's possible to make WP look worse than myspace): http://www.dokimos.org/ajff/
- at one point, I thought I knew a way to tile the backround like that... Currently, I'm not totally sure how to accomplish this

- get a bathymetry picture for Gulf of California
- maybe get pictures for Isla Ágel de la Guarda and Tiburósland as well?

- help out at Wikipedia:WikiProject Disambiguation/Malplaced disambiguation pages

- look into specialized dictionary... per the wikimania MP3, wiktionary is many
dictionaries in one, including a subject-specific dictionary. The most obvious subject that
this happens with is law dictionaries...
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:Law

- create the equivalent of Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games/Essential articles for Automobiles...
- include Automobile, which is a CORE TOPIC for a printed wikipedia

a tiny bit later
- clean up disambig pages per WP:MOSDAB
- start with http://tools.wikimedia.de/~interiot/cgi-bin/queries/groupwatch/cat1?category=Disambiguation

- figure out whether Car dealership can be cleaned up from US version

- merge meta refresh into meta tag... clarify http-equiv a bit more in
meta tag... move text link to anchor tag, add to , and
expand accordingly... and link all the existing HTML tags into HTML element

- improve History of globalization quite a bit
- copy the history text from the globalization article
- say something about "the modern era has been typified by rapid advances in
transportation, communication, and international trade, previous eras saw slower
advances in these areas as well".
- cleanup the notability category cruft left by R!
- MFD Wikipedia:List of lists/uncategorized based on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:List of lists

Tools
==============================================================
- create a two-stage multi-category tool:
- in the middle of the night, a pagelist table is updated
(eg. "all articles under Category:Automobiles". This functions as something
like a personal watchlist, but is public/open, automatically updated,
bigger but less surgical)
- at any time, people can do queries like:
- watchlist
- show the intersection with particular categories, especially things like:
- cleanup categories
- deletion categories
- create a multi-category recentchanges
- add "back" navigational items to ContributionTree (eg. to get back to namepsaces, or whatnot)

Project: Automobiles
==============================================================
- write a tool to identify all articles that should be marked as a stub
- then stub-sort these
- cleanup, merge Engine braking

- expand Dashboard by translating over from the de version
