TODO: Parse the .rss and provide some additional context, like the author name, author link, and maybe some indication of the author's stature (akin to an author-level metric in journal articles).
We could even publish a formal author-level metric for CPAN modules, publish a module which calculates it from a local CPAN::Mini mirror (probably backed by some kind of database), and provide a website that publishes the actual results from that metric (or metrics?), regularly updated. This would surely receive some criticism as something that could be easily gamed, and it would be a lot of work for me personally. That said, it still might be somewhat useful for the community as a whole. (and might even be something that could eventually be integrated into MetaCPAN)
