In a corporate environment, it can be helpful to prioritize email based on a few factors:
- is this email sent from a superior?
- is this email sent from my team, or one of the teams I directly work with frequently?
- am I the sole recipient, or was this email sent to numerous people? (also: am I in the to: list, or the cc: list, or copied via a list?)
Lotus Notes makes it easy to change the highlight color of each message within the message-list view. Is it possible to do the same thing in other mail readers?
