The book "Dragnet Nation" by Julia Angwin is one of the few pop-security writers who takes a pretty rational approach to computer security.
While she isn't the same as Bruce Schneier (she's primarily an investigative journalist rather than a security professional), I think she's a valuable addition to Schneier's writings.
