Unlike a gas mower, a reel mower doesn't have a reservoir of oil, so they may need to be regularly re-oiled / re-greased.
Maintenance advice:
- great advice on sharpening the blades and re-oiling it
- It's bit fiddly, since the gears are very near 1) the wet grass that can cause it to rust, and 2) a sharp blade that can cut your hands during maintenance. But with proper care, it's not hard.
- Always mow on a dry day.
