Talk to Bekki. Don't even appear to be passive-aggressove about this. Just because she's being immature about this doesn't give me an excuse to be anything but mature about this. Be up-front and honest about things.
Talk to the landlord. Ask if he'd be willing to cooperate with me on this, since I'm paying the rent anyway.
