BitNami, Turnkey Linux, InstantBox, JOPUX, VirtualBoxes.org, and DeveloperVMs have made me want to upgrade my computer.
Seriously, you can run damn near anything now, easily. Maybe it means you have Drupal+MySQL in one VM, and Ruby+Postgres in another, but who cares? RAM is cheap.
