• it should be possible to use heat-shrink tubing to add a plastic collar to each bit, which could then be painted to make them color-coded (since very few 4mm bits come with a plastic collar)
  • it should also be possible to use the epoxy + mica powder trick, to add extremely durable "paint" to each bit
