Keeping a raccoon as a pet?

Downside: Coons are wild animals. Really. They can be unpredictable and VERY destructive, even after living with someone for a long time.

Upside: They're smart as hell. Coons and bears are two of the animals that worry campers most. They will get into nearly any food store, because of their cunning and dogged persistence. (and I'm not keeping a bear as a pet)
