Spend more time outdoors, hiking and such

What's included in this folder? Any outdoor activities that really interest me.

Volunteer work: (sometimes volunteering for a group, and sometimes of my own initiative)

• Trail litter removal
• Trail maintenance
• Invasive plant control
• Monitoring of rare plants
• Community science
• ? Get involved in organizations that focus on volunteer trail maintenance

Continuing education:

• Learn Leave No Trace more thoroughly.
• Learn more about — bird watching, identifying fungi, and identifying lichen, and maybe forest ecology.
• Possibly take on more serious roles:
  • Wilderness first aid certification.
• ? Take paid classes offered by private organizations.

Spend more time in nature:

• Orienteering events.
• Participate in events and classes offered by REI.
• Try to hike slightly more each week. (No need to be super serious about it, just try to gently improve over time)
