One option for dealing with PM10 and PM2.5 dust particles is to create a robust cross ventilation system.
And by 'robust', I mean very robust: Two inline duct fans with their intake and outtake connected to this kind of window vent. Then the interior openings of each hose would be spaced perhaps a foot apart.
In cases where I'm generating relatively little macro-scale sawdust, and the main concern is just the hazardous particulate matter, then I may not need any sort of dust collection at all, and only rely on this cross-ventilation mechanism.
