Some I might be able to take, to get my pre-reqs done:
Sewing I: Zippers & Buttons, 5 weeks (15 hours) — Outside experience is enough to avoid pre-reqs, though they say they want it to be machine sewing only.
Upcycled Clothing, 4 weeks (12 hours) — One pre-req. "Reinvent your clothing! Disassemble and reconstruct your discarded clothing. Or combine more than one garment to create a one-of-a-kind look."
Sewing From Patterns, 10 weeks (30 hours) — One pre-req. (Ask and see if my existing experience would be enough, and if I could do it all using hand-sewing.)
Some I'm realllllly interested in:
World of Couture Tailoring, 5 weeks (15 hours) — 1 pre-req. The other students in this class might be doing advanced stuff, but the core material is right up my alley!
Garment Repairs and Alterations, 5 weeks (15 hours) — 1 pre-req. "Learn to take shirts in and pants up, mend holes, reinforce stressed fabric, fix hems, sew on buttons, replace zippers, add pockets, and more!"
Guided Sewing Projects, 10 weeks (30 hours) — 2 pre-reqs. "Our teaching artist will help you select an appropriate project and walk you through the steps to complete it. Demonstrations will be determined by class projects but may include serger instruction and sewing machine feet attachments."
