Manipulative people
How to respond to a manipulative person
Dr. Ramani:
(in the below videos, many of the comments are amazing also)
Never argue with someone who believes their own lies.
Good ways to respond: 1) Own your truth, your reality. 2) Stop falling for charisma and charm. 3) Remember, being smart or educated isn't a virtue. These don't make someone a nice person. 4) Don't get snowed by rich and successful people. 5) Watch how they treat other people. 6) Learn the narcissist's tells. 7) Become okay with setting boundaries. 8) Dump the enablers. 9) Stop giving second chances.
Disengage. Don't take their bait. Leave.
Signs that someone is manipulative
"After someone gaslights you once, be on watch. After someone is contemptuous and dismissive of you, be on watch. After someone is rageful and then tries to excuse it, be on watch."
