Outpost

To create an "outpost" (a bed that allows you to set your spawn point near something that you're farming) you will need:

• A bed (craft 5 silk from 35 cobwebs, and it requires a loom and then a sawmill to make)
• A torch
• Enough wood to create a workbench and door
• (optional) A chest or a piggy bank

Once there, you can create:

• A workbench
• A door
• Dirt/stone/etc walls
