I'm working on a map of the several blocks near my place, sort of a extreme version of Wikimapia, but including tons of private/residential data as well.
2D versions
One version is in Inkscape.
Another is in Google Map's .kmz format, since this allows easy overlays, and can be published on Google Maps.
3D versions
A 3D version would be awesome. It could be done in Flash 10, Papervision, Away3D, or Sandy so that it could be explored in the browser. Though maybe non-flash tools such as Processing would be better?
