basic requirements:
< $150 (prefer $100 or below)
1 or 2 80mm fans
ATX motherboard
accepts a normal power supply
prefer:
no cover over the front drive
side vents of some kind
don't require a riser card
Antec NSK 2400 - NO. Pluses: Lots of cooling. Includes a power supply (eg. same price as my other case.... how can you go wrong with that??)
THOUGH the face is plastic... :|
And it's microATX :((

LC10 - yeah
LC14 - yeah.
LC17 - yeah. 2x80mm. only quibble seems to be internal size isn't really roomy, but seems to be acceptable
LC20 - no. has a flip-down that covers the drives
Differences between an HTPC case and a normal case turned sideways:
- horizontal drive
- rubber feet on the proper side (rather than having rubber feet turned ugly)
- a more multimedia-looking front
