hex bits
manufacturers
double-ended bit sets
NOTE: The numbers here are the number of PIECES that are bits. (thus, the total number of bit-ends is double this)
Leatherman-style flat bits: (note: these should more or less fit in a hex socket)
ratchet handles that are compatible with double-ended bit sets
Most of these are from forums, and anecdotal / lightly sourced. But I'll take what I can get.

Security bit sets that are color-coded:
Bit sets that each have a plastic collar, which could be easily repainted (using acrylic paints) to be actually color-coded:

get some 4mm hex bits:
it's possible to 3D-print a case that fits the exact set that you have: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5953394
it should be possible to use heat-shrink tubing to add a plastic collar to each bit, which could then be painted to make them color-coded (since very few 4mm bits come with a plastic collar)
it should also be possible to use the epoxy + mica powder trick, to add extremely durable "paint" to each bit
