... 30 minutes by foot, but far less by bike...
how to get to Gurnee from your place
the crux of it is either:
picking up
Meta/Milwaukee District North
at Western Ave (which is
~12 mins by foot, or less by bike
), and taking that up to the Libertyville station (less travelling to get to your station,
more travelling for me

picking up
Metra/Union Pacific District North
at Clyburn or Ravenswood or Rogers Park, and taking that up to Waukegan station (lots of travelling to get to your train station, less travelling for me (~10 mins))
