Specs
- Input: 14.5 - 27 volts DC or AC
- Output: 11.68 ± 0.25 volts DC (datasheet said 12v, but close enough, especially given that car-supplied voltages are both unreliable AND super noisy)
- Continuous output current: 1.5A (supposedly. I haven't actually tested it with my heat sink, but as Wouter notes, this sort of heat-sink is probably too small for full-current applications or where the input voltage is very high (eg. more voltage overage to dissipate as heat))
- Peak output current: 2.2A (do 2.2amp wall-warts exist? I have a 1.1amp one, and it's the largest wart I've seen)
Partlist
Circuit and assembly is done very similarly to Wouter van Ooijen's kit.
