- I believe that something like an iPod set to play files randomly from a folder at a certain time could function the same, it would only require a little setup...
- songs for the alarm-clock would need to be edited to include ~10 minutes of silence at the end of each of them
- even the iPod mini supports this via its Extras > Clock > Alarm Clock menu, pointed to a playlist. Also would usse Settings > Shuffle = Songs.
