Best places to get specific chemicals, for the DIY-er.
Generally, if you want to find out where to get stuff like this, groups who tend to tend to be
interested in obtaining chemicals include:
- amateur rocket people... some are very experienced in making their own chemical mixtures, knowledgeable about legal restrictions and what's okay and what's not...
- amateur fireworks people (though they typically need a license to do so legally, and so may be able to obtain things that non-licensed people can't)
- firearms people, especially those that refill their cartridges
