I want to create my own religion.

(The moral justification for this is easy: People will always allow themselves to be vulnerable to religion. Therefore they're going to become involved with one religion or the other. So why shouldn't it be mine?)

(Yes, I'm a malevolent theologian. Aren't they all?)

One place to start with this is to study the folk religions / syncretic religions that have formed, to get a more direct view of which particular ideas are popular, and to be able to examine the ideas without the veneer of theological consistency.
