CeCe McDonald got 3.5 years in prison for defending herself against a group of attackers. The charges related to one of the attackers who died in the struggle (Dean Schmitz). However, it isn't clear who is responsible for the attacker's death.
Compare this to George Zimmerman, where for 45 days, everyone thought he would get away scot-free.
