This page is inspired by Killing Us Softly and media studies. One possible response to Killing Us Softly is to suggest that grass-roots media, which includes a diversity of voices, can be a counterweight to mass media.
In reality, it should be called "grass-roots media", as the things listed on this page are themselves part of the media. However, their goal is so opposite to that of standard media, that I call it "anti-media".
