There are three independent axes that someone's gender can be on:
sex male-bodied
intersex,
hermaphrodite

female-bodied
gender male presentation/self-identity
genderqueer,
intergender

female presentation/self-identity
orientation attracted to masculine people
bisexual
or pansexual

attracted to feminine people
Many words exist that give someone's position along two or three axes at once (eg. straight = male self-identity and attracted to femininity, or female self-identity and attracted to masculinity ; gay ; etc). However, these shouldn't be interpreted to imply that other combinations can't exist.

With gender, vocabulary can get fairly complicated, but the above is a basic summary.
