I once quipped "It would be easier to pass if I could wear a burqa".

Later, maybe I decided to maybe joke about it less. Sure, the juxtaposition of extremely religiously conservative practices with extremely queer attitudes is funny. But it is a concrete way of achieving the goal as well.

I am actually concerned with how sacraligious it is. I don't wish to severely offend anyone. I probably can't avoid offending people completely, but I DO wish to be aware of how much I'm likely to offend people.
