  • Note: yes, you can repurpose a regular mascara wand. Be sure to get mascara that's not waterproof, so the brush washes off easily. It's not worth it to try to remove all the mascara from the bottle, as it would take a significant amount of time, and you wouldn't be able to put much glitter back inside. Just store the wand in its original bottle, and use a separate jar for your hair-glitter mixture.

• however, you can just pour glitter into any clear topcoat... that's all the glitter polishes are
