The media usually portrays the average body as being an unattainable ideal — strictly young, white, and skinny. Models presented in the media are almost always airbrushed, so that even the real-life models can't actually attain the perfection that's portrayed:
The supermodel Cindy Crawford once said, “I wish I looked like Cindy Crawford.”
The solution is to show what real-life human bodies actually look like.
