Introduction to privilege.

By itself, privilege isn't bad

Privilege isn't something you take, it's something that others give to you. You don't control whether you get privilege, so people can't criticize you for having it.

Realize almost nobody hates you simply for being privileged, but because of you being unaware of it, and what it may make you do. Privilege is power, and power (typically) corrupts people.

Privilege blinds you

TODO: how do I explain this better? It seems that even many well-read folks (eg. some in the GqC leadership) don't understand that privilege fundamentally blinds people.
