The upgrade script needs these changes to be made:

    - change "mozilla-mplayer" to "gecko-mediaplayer"

           http://packages.debian.org/unstable/graphics/mozilla-mplayer
            "NOTE: this software is no longer maintained upstream. Its replacement is gecko-mediaplayer."

    - at the top of the script, it should auto-detect when 
            dpkg --configure -a
      is needed, and run it
            - TODO: how do we detect this condition?
