• install commands

  apt-get install fglrx mesa-utils
  fglrxinfo
  

• official ATI driver
• turning on VGA-0
  • Xorg.0.log contains this:

    (II) RADEON(0): Output VGA-0 has no monitor section
    (II) RADEON(0): EDID for output VGA-0
    (II) RADEON(0): Output VGA-0 disconnected
    

  • use these commands to force VGA-0 to on
  • use xrandr --newmode to fix the "cannot find mode 1920x1080" error
