This sign will go above our door, to try to attract attention from the very busy parking lot that's right next to us. There's a LOT of foot traffic over there, we really should try to capitalize on it.
- next steps TODO
- buy a max 2.24m wide × 1.83m [7' 4" wide × 6' 0" high] high piece of sheet metal (galvanized would be best)
- buy some good oil-based outdoor paint
- instructions for DIY outdoor signs
- our design
- dimensions
- max 1.83m high (this is the most that will fit through the door)
- max 2.33m high (this is the most that will hang off of the grate above)
- max 2.24m wide (it could be wider, but this is the widest that it can be and still remain centered over our door)
- KEEP IT SIMPLE. Maybe just "FreeGeek" in clearly-visible letters.
- we can have extra explanatory text on our "storefront", that people would walk up and read, if we really need to
- Eads says we DO NOT have a logo ready yet... but that's fine, we don't need a logo.... just the letters
