Standard containers / bulk materials handling:
- pallets
- there are lots of different sizes available, and it's not hard to modify them (eg. cut length off the 2-way ones), or build your own
- grocer pallet — 40 x 48" (most common size)
- gaylords and similar
- standard gaylord — 40 x 48", 36" high, fits on a standard grocer pallet
- milk crate — 13 x 13", 11" high (there doesn't seem to be any sort of used market for these, not on Craigslist, not anywhere... apparently because they're so easy to steal) (tips)
