Ways to work around ISPs that have a DNS wildcard on top-level domains (.com, etc):
configure your computer to use another DNS server (eg. 4.2.2.2)
use iptables to block the HTTP server
(the main problem is that Firefox caches the 302 redirects... if Firefox can't contact the HTTP server, it'll never get the 302 response)
