Go through the Cheat Engine tutorials if any
of this doesn't make sense. (no, seriously... the tutorials are a great hands-on way to learn. Also, when you need to figure out the RAM addresses to tell your program to poke at, Cheat engine is what'll be figuring out those addresses for you)
