Firefox add-ons that I consider to be important

• Display #Anchors — show all id="..."s and <a name="...">s
  • while there are many bookmarklets that can do this, I find the extension to be more reliable and easier to use
• hide attention-interrupters:
  • Demodal
  • I don't care about cookies
• Bypass Paywalls Clean — I have a digital subscription to four newspapers, but I read sooooo much news that it's hard to subscribe to them all.
• improve the interface to specific websites:
  • ImprovedTube for YouTube, there are SOOOO many options
  • Facebook — Social Fixer, which hasn't been updated for >12 mo, so maybe use one of these:
    • Facebook Hide Recommendations and Reels — works well for me as of Nov 2022
    • Ad Blocker for Facebook?
  • for Twitter, make sure you try out the official Tweetdeck.Twitter.com and Advanced Search before resorting to third-party extensions
  • Reddit Enhancement Suite
