- working with .gho images
- Ghost Explorer is really friggin useful
- bootable media
- Ghost32.exe + BartPE: a great combination
- Ghost.exe must BOOT from a FAT filesystem, but it can write and read IMAGES from NTFS drives! (i.e. it doesn't rely on the underlying OS even for writing out individual files)
- the great benefit of this is that you don't have spanning problems, or problems losing the superblock if you accidentally yank the USB in the middle of a write operation
- however, it seems to fail on NTFS drives that are too large? (tested with 1TB)
