Modifying Hiren's Boot CD

To extract or update the boot floppy, use one of these tools (WinImage usually works well).

(grrr.... though I've had a hard time sometimes updating the boot floppy — MagicISO seems to get the job done, anyway)

To extract or update .CAB files, use cabarc.exe from Microsoft.

cabarc.exe -r -p -m lzx:21 n drivers.cab *

To extract or update .UHA files, use uharcd.exe located on the CD.
