PRN (pro re nata) — the administration of prescribed medication whose timing is left to the patient, nurse, or caregiver, as opposed to medication that is taken according to a fixed schedule
ind. (indies) — daily
o.d. (omni die) — every day (once daily)
q.d.a.m. (quaque die ante meridiem) — once daily in the morning
q.d.p.m. (quaque die post meridiem) — once daily in the evening
