- write a local analyzer, and make it so that it auto-runs, and that it uploads its results to 68k.org
- I COULD upload entire log files to 68k.org, and have them analyzed there... this would make
it easier to collect log files from multiple disjoint computers. However, the fact that
the log files could easily end up to be very large, and that the generated reports will
not be anywhere as large, means that it's much more efficient to do the
report-generation locally.
- how should it read in the log files from slogger? Should slogger split them into daily chunks?
- is it possible to write out Slogger log files in one of the Apache file formats, so that tools that use those, can actually analyze data across all sites I visit?
- data products I'd like to be able generate:
- how many hours a day am I websurfing; what specific periods of time am I websurfing
- how many webpages do I load per day/hour; how many Google searches do I do per day/hour
- automatically update the "preferred websites this week" portion of my homepage
- strip out the porn hits, and provide them to any of my porn analysis apps
