- page 1 — index of knots
A quick way to lookup a knot and jump to the right page. All of the knots, on one page. Each knot will have 1) the name of the knot, 2) a single picture indicating its structure (for identification purposes), and 3) the page number for the full details for the knot.
- page 2 — knot terminology
Describe the parts of a rope ("standing end", "working end", "bight"),
types of knots ("bend", "loop", "hitch", "stopper", "lashing", etc),
knot properties ("jamming", "running knot" vs "slipped"),
and other terminology ("capsize").
- pages 3 and after — knot details
One to four knots per page. Each knot will have a few standard things:

Properties: Derived from the clove hitch. Jams easily, so is usually slipped.
Used for: Binding objects together.
