There are various ways to record the keystrokes+output of a terminal session.

script
- scriptreplay (man page, download, patch)
sudo I/O logging
- I/O logging available since: sudo v1.7.3
- configuration: log_input, log_output
- log file directory: /var/log/sudo-io/
- user-space utility: sudoreplay
ttyrec
- ipbt — allows rewinding a ttyrec logfile
shelr (a wrapper around 'script' and 'ttyrec')
