Features Wikimapia needs:
    - better map UI:
        - allow the mouse scroll-wheel to work with Google Maps, eg. make it zoom (do they need to trap and forward those events on?)
        - pressing escape, when a building's description page is up, should close it
        - when you start to add a building (just the square interface, not the polygon), and you zoom in/out or scroll, the square doesn't do the same scaling/translation (eg. doesn't stick to the map). (as opposed to the polygon view, where it transforms nicely with the map)
    - have the option to hide private residences (apparently there are areas where it's hard to see anything because there's so many of them)
    - search by region, or starting from a specific point... right now there's only a worldwide name-search, and that's it
(their current search is rather fast, and allows searching even within descriptions... and adding proximity-search probably requires a new table, but it would be really really useful)
    - better handling of the initial 3-day period for users... for instance, after ~15? minutes go by, a user can no longer resize something THEY THEMSELVES created.
    - more user-preferences: at the least, make the Map/Satellite/Hybrid setting sticky

Other things Wikimapia needs:
    - faster deletion... it's not clear what happens to entities once someone tags them for deletion, but the queue must be very long, it takes many days at least for something to be reviewed and deleted
    - better documentation.... there was very little explanation of the initial 3-day waiting period after account creation. The mere fact that the site itself frequently references a third-party unofficial blog, as documentation, means that they really need to improve their documentation
    - the comment system seems a bit weird... more prone to abuse than anything?
    - documentation for the photos...? At a minimum, who owns the copyright?
